The "Casa Família Pestana" property is an old house built in 1980 which has been restored and divided into two small apartments.
This accommodation is a small apartment located on the ground floor of the house and is ideal for two guests.
It is approximately 20 m2 and comprises a small bedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette with a dining area, and a bathroom with a shower. It is equipped with air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a ceramic hob, a microwave, and kitchen utensils, as well as a washing machine, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, a television with international channels, and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxed stay. LOCATION The property is located near the village of Seixal, on the north coast of Madeira Island, where there is a sandy beach, volcanic ocean pools, and some restaurants and cafes. It is also close to Porto Moniz, which offers volcanic pools and other attractions. A few kilometers away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains, and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers. The grocery store "Mercearia Amanhecer" is 1.6 km away. The property has easy access to main roads and there is a bus stop nearby. NOTES A car is recommended for this location.
There is the possibility of parking on the roadside near the property. Cleaning is carried out before guests check in, followed by a weekly maintenance clean, which includes changing bed linen and towels. Due to the climate, there are also insects and geckos in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted by food scraps.
For those who are not comfortable with the presence of insects and geckos, we do not recommend accommodation in a rural area. In the vicinity, there are some ruins of old rural houses; however, these do not affect the comfort of the accommodation. Occasionally, dog barking may occur in the neighborhood, and the sound of the sea can be intense on rough sea days, which may affect noise levels at night in the surroundings. OTHER CONDITIONS 1. Parties or behaviors that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbors are not allowed, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM when neighborhood noise is prohibited. 2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time, and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival. 3. Self check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key safe, the code for which is generated and sent on the day of arrival.
For in-person check-in, an appointment for the time is required, and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new appointment may be scheduled according to our availability. 4. Guests may be asked to present identification upon arrival and provide any missing identification details to comply with legal requirements. 5. Any breakdowns, incidents, or cleaning failures must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be verified and addressed promptly during the stay.
