Roses is a Spanish municipality in the Alto Ampurdán region in the province of Gerona, Catalonia. It is located on the northern coast of the Gulf of Roses, south of Cape Creus. It is a large tourist center, with urbanizations, hotels and beaches and two ports (fishing and sports), and an attractive and prominent place within the northern sector of the Costa Brava.
