How do I change my password?
Changing your password on Holidu is a straightforward process that helps keep your account secure. You can update your password through the Holidu app or website in just a few simple steps.
Change your password online
To change your password using the Holidu website, follow these steps:
- Visit the Holidu website and look for the login page
- Select the "Forgot Password?" option
- Enter the email address associated with your account or your username
- Click submit
- Check your email for a message from Holidu with instructions on how to create a new password
- Follow the link in the email and enter your new password
- Save your changes
Change your password in the Holidu app
The process is similar when using the Holidu mobile app. Open the app, navigate to the account settings, and select the password reset option. You will receive an email with further instructions to complete the process.
Important information about Holidu accounts
It's important to note that a Holidu Account is not automatically created when you make a reservation. Each guest must create their account individually to access password management features. Once your account is set up, you can add existing reservations by entering your last name and booking code.
Create a strong password
When setting your new password, choose a combination that is strong and unique. A good password should include:
- At least 8 characters
- A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
- Numbers and special characters
- Avoid using personal information like your name or birthdate
Password reset troubleshooting
If you do not receive a password reset email after submitting your request, check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes password reset emails are filtered automatically. Make sure you are entering the correct email address associated with your Holidu account.
