How do I change my bank details?
Changing Bank Details for Non-Verified Accounts
If your account has not gone through Adyen's bank account verification process yet, your bank details cannot be updated at this time.
In most cases, we have not collected your bank details until you complete the verification process. You will only be able to add or update your IBAN once you go through the Adyen bank account verification process.
Learn more about account verification by visiting our account verification guide for private hosts or account verification guide for companies.
Changing Bank Details for Verified Accounts
If your account has been verified by Adyen, follow these steps to update your bank details:
- Log in to your account
- Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
- Select "Account"
- Scroll down to "Bank information"
- Click "Edit"
A new window will open with your verified bank details tab. You will see your current IBAN displayed.
Updating Your IBAN
- Click on the right-hand side of the IBAN field
- Delete the current IBAN number
- Enter your new IBAN number
Ensure the bank account holder name matches the Holidu account owner name. For company accounts, the IBAN must be registered under the company name.
Verification Methods
You can choose one of two verification methods to confirm your new bank account:
Instant Verification
Available in most countries (not available in Greece, Austria, or Italy):
- Search and select your online banking provider
- Log into your online banking account through Tink, our verified partner
- Your banking login data will not be stored for security reasons
Manual Verification
Enter your details and upload a bank document as proof:
- Document must be issued within the last 12 months
- Must clearly show your name and IBAN
- For non-EU residents, must display the bank location
- Upload the document and click "next"
- Verification may take up to 72 hours
Important Information
- An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) identifies your individual account worldwide
- You can find your IBAN in your online banking portal or account statements
- The new bank account must belong to the Holidu account holder
- We can only modify the IBAN for the person or company we have signed the agreement with
- Company accounts can only receive payments to the company's registered IBAN
- Bank account proof must be clear, visible, and recent
- Holidu only issues payments to EUR accounts
- If changing IBAN alongside other account details, updates may take time to appear in your PMS
