When you receive a new booking through Holidu, a commission invoice is automatically generated and added to your account. This invoice serves as the legal document for all charges associated with the booking. Understanding how Holidu's commission structure works is essential for managing your property and maximizing your earnings.

Commission Overview

All costs, including channel fees, processing fees, and Holidu's service fee, are combined into one commission (if applicable to your account). The most important thing to remember is that this commission is already included in the price paid by the guest, so there are no hidden surprises or unexpected deductions.

Extra Fees

You can configure extra fees for your property, which may either be included in the total price shown to the guest or charged on site, depending on the booking channel and the type of fee. Any applicable commission will be clearly reflected in your net earnings, which you can view on both the booking invoice and the booking details page.

VAT (Value Added Tax)

How Additional Pricing and Fees Work

It's important to note that partner portals such as Airbnb or Booking.com may apply their own commission or service fees on top of the price you set in your Holidu account. This also applies to additional guest fees, such as per-guest or per-night charges. As a result, the final price shown to guests on external channels may differ slightly from the base price you set in Holidu.

The prices you configure in Holidu always refer to your base amount before any external commissions or service fees are added by the booking channel.

Where to See Your Current Pricing Conditions

You can review your pricing and commission conditions anytime in your Holidu account by following these steps:

1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
2. Go to the Holidu Logo in the upper right-hand corner and select Account
3. Scroll down to the section titled Your Current Pricing Conditions

Here, you can view and download your signed Holidu agreement. You will also see your current Holidu fee, any applicable discounts, and the commission applied to your channel bookings, including Holidu.com, Booking.com, and Airbnb.

Where to Find Your Invoices

To view and download invoices for each booking, follow these simple steps:

1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
2. From the menu on the left-hand side, scroll down to Financials and then Invoices
3. You'll see all commission invoices listed by date and booking reference
4. Click Download to save a copy for your records
