Why offer discounts and short stays?

• Discounts help you attract guests during low-demand periods or fill gaps in your calendar — without reducing your base price.
• Short stays appeal to short-break travellers and weekenders. Opening up shorter stays can help lift occupancy, especially in shoulder and low seasons.

Discount options available

First 3 bookings discount — automatically applied to the first 3 bookings of a new property.

Mobile Discount — attract guests booking from mobile devices.

Early Bird Discount — for guests who book in advance. You choose the lead time and discount percentage.

Last-Minute Discount — fill availability with short-notice bookings at a discount you set.

Weekly Discount — reward longer stays of 7 nights or more.

Loyalty Discount — only available for properties with minimum 3 reviews on both Holidu and Booking.com with an average score of 7.5 or higher. Fixed 10% discount for frequent travellers.

Discount for your direct booking website — offer guests a small discount when they book directly on your website or through the booking module embedded on your existing website. They pay less, and you keep more.

Flexible stay options to fill your calendar

Fill short gaps between reservations — fills calendar gaps with short stays at the price uplift you set.

Accept short stays for full-stay pay — allows bookings for fewer nights than your standard minimum, while keeping your earnings intact.

Lower your minimum stay for last-minute dates — automatically reduces the minimum stay requirement as the check-in date approaches.

How to set up discounts and short stays

Log in to your Holidu Host Account and go to Configuration → Discounts. Select Configure for the discount or flexible stay option you want to activate. Adjust your parameters according to your property's needs, and click Activate to save your changes.

You set the percentages, the windows, and the minimums. Holidu's pricing recommendations are based on local market data, so you can match each setting to demand in your area.
