Holidu Protect is a protection service designed to safeguard your property and bookings. When activated, it provides coverage for your holiday home on all future bookings. The service is flexible, allowing you to activate or deactivate it per property at any time based on your needs.

How to activate Holidu Protect

Follow these simple steps to activate Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Log in and access your property settings

First, log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Go to Pricing & Protection

In your property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Look for the section labeled "Protect your Property" and click the Configure button.

Step 3: Review and accept the Terms & Conditions

A detailed information screen will appear. Read through all the information about Holidu Protect carefully to understand the coverage and terms. Once you've reviewed the details, check the box to accept the Terms & Conditions.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click the Activate Holidu Protect button to enable the service for your property. You will immediately see a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated.

What happens after activation?

Once you confirm activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. Please note: if you have security deposits configured for this property, they will be automatically deactivated when Holidu Protect is activated, as the protection service replaces this coverage.

How to deactivate Holidu Protect

You have complete flexibility to deactivate Holidu Protect at any time. Simply return to the Pricing & Protection section in your property settings and click the deactivate option. The change takes effect immediately for all future bookings.
