Syncing your Feratel Deskline account with Holidu allows you to manage your prices, availability, and booking information seamlessly across platforms. This guide walks you through the connection process step by step.

Before You Start

Before connecting Feratel Deskline to Holidu, ensure you have met the following requirements:

  • Your property is published on at least one Holidu channel
  • You have an active listing with Feratel Deskline
  • No existing API connections exist between Feratel and other property management software
  • Any manual blocks from your Feratel calendar have been manually entered into your Holidu calendar, as manual blocks do not sync automatically

How to Connect Feratel Deskline to Holidu

Step 1: Access Feratel Deskline Settings

Log in to your Feratel Deskline Webclient account using your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Integration Options

In the left menu, navigate to Datenwartung (Data Maintenance), then select Schnittstellenwartung (Interface Maintenance). Click on the Schnittstellen für automatische Datenwartung (Interfaces for Automatic Data Maintenance) tab.

Step 3: Search for Holidu

In the search bar, type Holidu to find the integration option.

Step 4: Connect Your Property

Click Verbinden (Connect). Select the property or properties you wish to connect, accept the Terms and Conditions, and click Änderungen speichern (Save Changes).

Step 5: Receive Your Mapping Codes

Wait for an email from Feratel. This email will contain a PDF attachment with your unique mapping codes. Keep this information secure and accessible for the next steps.

Step 6: Access Holidu Synchronization Settings

Log in to your Holidu account and select the property you want to connect to Feratel.

Step 7: Configure the Connection in Holidu

Go to the iCal & Synchronisation section for your property. Click Configure, then select Feratel from the available connection options.

Step 8: Enter Your Mapping Codes

Enter the three mapping codes from the Feratel email into the corresponding fields in Holidu. Click Save to complete the connection.

What Data Syncs Between Feratel and Holidu?

Data That Syncs

  • Prices: Prices set in Holidu sync to Feratel Deskline
  • Availability Updates: Booking blocks synchronize in both directions between the systems

Data That Does NOT Sync

  • Manual Blocks: Manual blocks created in Feratel are not automatically imported to Holidu. You must add these blocks directly in your Holidu calendar
  • Property Content: Photos, descriptions, and property details are not synced between systems. You must maintain this information separately in both Feratel and Holidu
  • Feratel Bookings via iCal: If you have connected Holidu to other portals using iCal, those bookings export to Feratel. However, bookings from Feratel will not sync back through iCal. To sync Feratel bookings to other calendars, use Feratel's own iCal link instead

Verify Your Connection

Check Status in Holidu

Go to iCal & Synchronisation for your property. The status should display Synchronization is active. If it shows Pending, refresh the page and check again.

Navigate to Schnittstellenwartung (Interface Maintenance) and confirm that Holidu is listed as active.

Best Practices for Managing Your Connected Accounts

  • Double-check all manual blocks to ensure your calendar is accurate across both platforms
  • Keep property information, such as descriptions and photos, updated separately in both Holidu and Feratel
  • Regularly verify that synchronization is active in both systems
  • If you encounter issues with the connection, verify the mapping codes and connection statuses before contacting support

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

Connection Shows as Pending

If your connection status shows as Pending in Holidu, refresh the page. If it remains pending after several minutes, verify that you entered the mapping codes correctly from the Feratel email.

Ensure the three mapping codes from Feratel are entered exactly as they appear in the email, including any dashes or special characters. Even a small typo can prevent the connection from activating.

Check Feratel Settings

Log back into Feratel Deskline and navigate to Schnittstellenwartung to confirm that Holidu is listed and marked as active.

Important Reminders

Keep manual blocks in sync manually. Since Feratel manual blocks do not automatically sync to Holidu, take time after connecting to review your Feratel calendar and add any existing manual blocks to Holidu to avoid double bookings or availability conflicts.

Maintain separate content management. Because photos and descriptions do not sync, ensure your property information is complete and up to date in both systems. This prevents guest confusion and ensures consistency across platforms.
