For over 60 years Hawthorn Cottage has welcomed guests to historic Somesville and Acadia National Park. Hawthorn Cottage shares with our home and Juniper Cottage two beautifully landscaped acres fringed with wild blueberry bushes. The lawn is open and sunny, with gardens and shade trees near the cottage and a shaded deck for observing Somesville's resident eagles and ospreys. You can walk to our library, repertory theater, museum, to the ocean, or to Somes Pond for a swim. Rental weeks run Saturday to Saturday, except for options in fall.
